There’s a version for Mac and for Windows. After installing, enter the licence key you got by email and you’re ready. One licence works on 2 computers for a year.

Not sure which Mac you have? In the Apple menu, choose “About This Mac”. If it shows an M-series chip, download the Apple silicon version; if it shows an Intel processor, download the Intel one.
There is no Linux version for now.
The app is not signed yet
The installers are not signed by Apple or Microsoft yet, so the first time you open the app your computer shows a warning. Here is how to open it anyway:
- 1Open the DMG and drag DutyDesk into Applications.
- 2Open DutyDesk. macOS says it can’t verify the developer. Close the message without moving the app to the Bin.
- 3Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, click “Open Anyway”, and confirm. The button stays there for about an hour after you tried to open the app.
- 4Since macOS 15 Sequoia this is the only way. On macOS 14 or earlier you can instead Control-click the app and choose Open.
- 1Run the installer. SmartScreen shows “Windows protected your PC”.
- 2Click “More info”, then “Run anyway”.
The bot answers only while the computer is on, online, and the app is running. When the computer is off or asleep, nothing answers. If you need replies around the clock without leaving a computer on, the cloud suits you better.
